Usaymah H Rukieh

USAMYAH RUKIEH Usaymah H. Rukieh, age 78, passed away December 25, 2015 at Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek. Mrs Rukieh was born January 1, 1937 in Damascus, Syria to Rassemy and Sokina Hamway. Usaymah and her late husband Khaled M. Rukieh along with their four children immigrated to the United States of America in 1980 to Toledo, Ohio. She enjoyed working with her family at the Beirut Bakery for many years prior to retirement. She loved spending time with her children and her grandchildren. Mrs. Rukieh is survived by her four children, Ayman (Mervat) Rukieh, Iad Rukieh, Iman (Rassem) Al-Hamwy, Said (Jody) Rukieh and grandchildren Leena, Yezon, Lana, Ramey, Noor, Lamees, Mazin and Anna. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 28, 2015 12:30 PM at The Greater Toledo Islamic Center, 25877 Scheider Road, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551. Burial will follow in Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania, Ohio. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, Perrysburg, Ohio 419-874-3133.
