Twila Jean Adams

Twila Jean Adams, 81, of Oregon, Ohio died Saturday, January 31, 2015, in the Regency Hospital of Toledo. She was born in Gibsonburg, Ohio, on September 16, 1933, to Augusta F. and Gladys I. (Baker) Oberhaus. She married Johnny H. Adams in Gibsonburg on June 20, 1953, and he preceded her in death on October 19, 2003. Twila was a nurses aide at the Luther Home of Mercy in Williston, Ohio for 20 years, retiring in 1995. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed going out to dinner with her sister. She loved to visit and could often be found socializing with her friends where she lived. Survivors include her children, John M. Adams, Wanda S. (Wayne) Cummins, Randy L. (Frances) Adams, Sr., Connie E. Adams, five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and sister, Ruth Adams. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, Virginia, Rena Ray, Winifred and Ruby, brother, Lyle, and an infant brother. A funeral service for Twila will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 4, 201,5 in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, Ohio. Interment will be in the Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Perrysburg, Ohio. Visitation for Twila will be from 2-8 p.m., Tuesday, February 3, 2015 in the funeral home. The family suggests that memorials in Twilas name go to the donors choice.
