Trinidad Calvillo-Soto

Trinidad Calvillo-Soto, age 95, of Clay Center, Ohio passed away at home on Friday, March 17, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 5, 1927 in Guanajuato, Mexico to Tranquilino and Beatrice (Hernandez) Calvillo. Trinidad married Alfonso Soto, and he preceded her in death in 2006.

Trinidad was a kind soul, who was gentle, selfless, caring, hardworking and a great cook. She was deeply religious in both her faith and God and will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.

Trinidad is survived by her children, Jesus Soto, Maria Penrod, Noelia Petersen, Trinidad Alcantar, Beatrice Lechlak, Enedelia DeCant and Alfonso Soto, Jr.; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; siblings, Macario, Felipe, Jose and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant daughter, Maria Olga Soto and siblings, Carmen, Algaria and Erasmo Calvillo.
