Trichelle Anne Foulks

Trichelle Anne Foulks, age 47, of Rossford, Ohio, died December 31, 2024, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo, Ohio. She was born on October 16, 1977, in Akron, Ohio, and graduated from Clearfork High School in Butler, Ohio in 1996. Trichelle went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy from the University of Toledo. She was employed at St. Anne’s Mercy Hospital in Toledo in the respiratory therapy department for nearly 20 years. She was devoted to her patients and their well-being, always willing to go above and beyond as a caregiver.

In her free time, Trichelle enjoyed reading novels and crafting, especially attending painting classes that included a glass of wine, and watching Christmas movies on the Hallmark Channel. She was an avid baseball fan, particularly of the Cincinnati Reds. Trichelle loved attending the baseball and football games of her son, Alex, throughout his elementary, high school and college career. She and her husband, Dan, were also able to attend baseball games at 22 different Major League Baseball Parks. Trichelle enjoyed traveling to relax by the ocean, discovering new breweries and spending time with her family and friends. These are adventures that will always be cherished. Trichelle will be lovingly remembered for her selfless, giving nature and for her strength, especially through her recent illness. She was a strong advocate for her family and her beliefs. She will be deeply missed.

Left to treasure her memory are her devoted husband, Daniel Cornell, whom she married on August 16, 2008; beloved son, Alex Foulks; mother and stepfather, Gwen and Ray Dingus; father, Robert Foulks; sister, Nicole Foulks; half siblings, Brittany Foulks, Brandyn Foulks (Melanie), and Adam Foulks; stepsister, Christina Jamieson (Jamie); and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Trichelle was also preceded in death by her brother, Robert “Robbie” Foulks.

Family and friends are invited to visit from 4-8 p.m., Monday, January 6, 2025, in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Avenue, Toledo, Ohio 43623 and from 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield, Ohio 44902, where funeral services to celebrate and honor Trichelle’s life will begin at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, January 8, 2025. Interment will immediately follow the ceremony at Mansfield Cemetery.

The family requests, in lieu of flowers, that donations in Trichelle’s name be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation .
