Trey Thomas Tovar

Trey Thomas Tovar, age 24 of Holland, Ohio passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 3, 2018 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 4, 1993 to Jerry and Dawn (Brillhart) Tovar in Charlotte, North Carolina. Trey was a 2011 Springfield High School graduate and attended Lourdes University. He played varsity baseball for Springfield High School for four years. He worked in Production at First Solar and enjoyed playing basketball, shooting pool with friends, was an avid Detroit Red Wings fan and especially loved spending time with his beautiful daughter, Lilly. Trey was loved by many, quick-witted and was always able to make those around him smile. Left to cherish Trey's memory are; his daughter, Lillian Tovar; parents, Jerry and Dawn Tovar; brother, Sam Tovar; grandparents, Tom and Barbara Brillhart, Tom and Aurelia Tovar; many aunts, uncles and cousins. We would like to thank Dr. Murad Saleh and nursing staff at Toledo Hospital ICU for their compassionate care and Promedica Hospice for all of their support during this difficult time. Private services for Trey were held on May 8, 2018 and burial followed at Toledo Memorial Cemetery.
