Tom Khioukhom passed away at home on November 2, 2022 with his wife by his side and his home full of family and friends. He was born on August 5, 1949 in Na Kham, Ban Dung District, Udon Thani, Thailand. He was raised in Laos before immigrating to the United States. Initially residing in Virginia, he moved and lived the rest of his life in Ohio starting in 1984. He worked for over 30 years in the automotive industry retiring in September 2014.
In retirement he enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, gardening and real estate investing. Together, with his wife, they ensured their children, parents and close family did not have a want in the world. He will be missed for his wit, innovative creations and undefinable personality.
He is survived by his wife Boun (née Insomboun) Khioukhom. His sister Katie (Som) Kien. Children Dang, Thabee, Mykell (Angie) Khioukhom, Linda (Charlie) Vo, Wasana (Dan) Slavin and Akhom Khioukhom (Justin Kuczynski). His grandchildren Deanna Peoples, Treylynn Khioukhom, Anthony Peoples, Natalie Slavin, Gianna Slavin, Savannah Slavin and Kaleb Khioukhom. Many nieces and his nephew.
He is preceded in death by his parents Sengchanh & Thoummady (née Yungsisath) Khioukhom.
