Tom S. Dean

Tom S. Dean, 69, of Oak Harbor, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2017, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. He was born January 23, 1948, in Glens Falls, New York, the son of Edith (Colby) and Thomas S. Dean. Tom served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. On December 23, 1990, Tom married Joan E. Goldstein and she survives. Tom is also survived by children: Christine (Michael) Wiedle, Candice Ross, Julie (Neil) Aldridge, Laurie (Johnny Rhonehouse) Gallup, Adam (Jill) Pfeiffer; eleven grandchildren; one great grandchild; and brother, James Dean. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Barbara Robbins and Katie Starr, and infant brother, Chris Dean. Visitation for Tom will begin at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 3, 2018, until time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, 165 E. Water St., Oak Harbor, Ohio. A private graveside service will be held at the Salem Township Union Cemetery in Oak Harbor.
