Todd K. Reed

Todd K. Reed, age 58, of Toledo, passed away on February 17, 2022, at home. Todd was born on December 3, 1963, the son of Richard K. and Gloria (Glickert) Reed. He was a 1982 graduate of Start High School, furthering his education at Stautzenberger College and Northwest State Community College.

Todd had a heart of gold. He was a caring son, loving brother, friend to all, and an amazing uncle to his many nieces and nephews. As an uncle, Todd always found ways to show his love and support; whether it be arranging special activities to spend time together, supporting the kids in each of their activities, or being a very generous gift giver. He was always there to help should anyone ever need anything. Todd was a dreamer and always had a vision, seeing potential in everything around him. Working on his blue ’68 Camaro and creating music were at the top of a long list of hobbies and interests. Over the years, Todd worked at Associates and Estrel, Bottomline Ink, Sofo Foods, and most recently Absolute Performance Incorporated (API).

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Gloria; sister, Tracy Fanning (Carlile Robertson); stepbrothers, Terry (Mary) Estrel, Tim (Sara) Estrel, and Tom (Tracy) Estrel; nieces and nephews, Spencer, Cody, Chris (Corinne), Aaron, Alex, Brittany, Dianna, Connor, Josh, Jacob, Chase, and Tryston; great-nieces and nephew, Ellie, Teddy, and Annie. Todd was preceded in death by his father, Richard K. Reed; stepfather, Wayne Estrel; and brother-in-law, Marc Fanning.

A Celebration of Life/Open House at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) will be held on Sunday, February 27, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of a sharing of memories and toast to Todd at 3:45 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Toledo Humane Society or Natures Nursery.
