Todd Alan Fellabaum, 51, originally of Toledo, passed away Tuesday, April 5th, 2011, in Warrenton, Virginia. He is survived by his wife, Laura LaPointe Fellabaum of Warrenton; sons, Jesse and Adam Fellabaum, formerly of Fayetteville, Georgia; mother, Jacquelyn Fellabaum Adams of Toledo; brother, Tom Annette Fellabaum of Coldwater, Michigan and brother, Terry Beth Fellabaum of Hartland, Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his father, John Fellabaum. Todd grew up in the family business National Cement Products, founded in 1923 by his grandfather Cloyd Fellabaum, and spent the last twenty three years in the block manufacturing business. He had many interests and skills. A long time member of EAA, Todd inherited his passion for aviation from his father, and shared it with his son Adam, now a flight attendant with Delta Airlines. He was a skilled craftsman and metalworker, he and Laura creating many unique pieces for family and friends. He was a lifelong collector of antiques, and will be remembered for the excellent hand cranked apple cider he made every year. Todd treasured his dogs and was a true Jimmy Buffet Parrothead. Family and friends remember Todd as a quiet, steady presence. When Todd was around you just knew everything would be ok. Co-workers describe him as immensely knowledgeable, dependable and generous. His son Jesse says that Todd was the epitome of what a father should be and therein lay Todds greatest passion-his wife Laura and his sons Jesse and Adam. He was a family man in the truest sense; sharing his time, his skills and his love. He will be greatly missed. Family and friends may visit on Thursday, May 5, 2011, from 9-11:00am at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd. Memorial donations in Todds name can be made to a historic restoration project, Friends of the Bonine House at P.O. Box 124, Vandalia, Michigan.
