Tiny J. Loe

Tiny J. Loe, age 70, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021. She was born on December 17, 1950 to Newton and Della (Hill) Delffs in Toledo. Tiny fought a courageous battle of deteriorating health and pain. Her body wore out, but her love for life and family never ended. Prior to being put on a ventilator, Tiny responded “Don’t give up on me!” Dear Tiny, no one gave up on you, your body wore out and stopped functioning…we are all at a loss, with a void in our hearts. Tiny’s most valued treasure was her family, friends, and her dog. She loved them all unconditionally and always put their needs over hers. Tiny was always kind, loving, and forgiving. She will be greatly missed especially on family members birthdays. Tiny would always call to sing her amazing “Happy Birthday” message on everyone’s birthday. Tiny enjoyed spending any time with family, going on camping trips, traveling, doing her word puzzles, and making her very famous potato salad for family occasions. Her most enjoyed moments was babysitting her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews when good health allowed her to do so. Family would like to acknowledge her very caring doctors and all the exceptional staff at Mercy St. Anne’s Hospital She is survived by her loving sons, Walter Jr., and Frank (Kristie); brother, Henry (MaryAnne) Delffs; sisters, Judy (James) Avery, Newtie (Raymond) Frost, Diana Hennesey Delffs; 5 grandchildren, and Omma to 7 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, and dog, Rocky. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Loe; sisters, Dimmie Romelin and Michelle Jaquillard. Tiny will be cremated and her remains, along with those of her husband, will be interred at Toledo Memorial Park. A private service will be held at a later date.
