Tina Carr

Tina Carr, age 64, passed away on November 14, 2023. Born May 27, 1959, Tina was a lifelong resident of the Toledo area and graduated from Whitmer High School. She worked at Family Christian Bookstores for 18 years, then worked at Jacob’s Supply in Temperance for 6 years.

Tina enjoyed gardening and quilting. Her pride and joy, however, was in being a mother to her three sons and a grandmother to their children. She raised Cody, Cory, and Casey, and spent every minute she could with grandsons Grady and Summit.

Tina believed in Jesus for the forgiveness of her sins and found comfort in Him throughout her life. She had great peace through her illness because of her Savior. Her hope was that her illness would bring those close to her to trust in God as she did. She was a faithful member of Christ the Word Church.

Tina wished to offer special thanks to the Armentrout family, and especially to Johanna Armentrout for faithfully caring for her and being a friend.

Family and friends are invited to visit at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave, Toledo, OH, on Monday, November 20, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 21, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Springfield Township Cemetery.
