Tina Marie Burtscher

Tina Marie Burtscher passed away suddenly on July 19, 2026, at her home in Toledo, Ohio.

Tina was born on June 6, 1964, in Toledo, Ohio, to John and Norma (Wueller) Burtscher. She attended Waite High School and later earned her GED. Tina spent many years working for Washington Local Schools, where she was a student favorite and made her presence known in the lunchroom to many of her children's friends.

She loved being outside. Whether she was doing chores in the yard, camping, floating in her pool, or sitting beside a fire she built herself, Tina was happiest outdoors. When she wasn't outside, she could usually be found inside "jammin'" to her favorite classic rock bands. However, you would find Tina with her biggest smiles sitting back watching all of her children together, getting along and simply enjoying one another's company. As much as she loved her children, she loved her grandchildren even more. Spending time with them and watching them grow filled her heart with happiness.

She was known as "Tina" to her former husband, Joseph "Joe" Crapsey; "Mom" and "Stepmom" to her eight children, Melissa (James) Taylor, Thomas Burtscher, Vanessa Crapsey, Shana Crapsey, Anthony Todak, Hanna (Evan) Crapsey, Trisha (Tyler) Rudolph, and Joseph "JoJo" (Alysha) Crapsey; "Grandma" to her grandchildren, Thomas, Lillian, and Charlee; Tegan, Jason, and Mason; Colton, Cashton, Elleena, and Veda; Alaska; Nathaniel, Izabella, and Madison; Maya, Kaya, and Tiana; and Anthony, Emma, James, and Daniel; and "Sister" to Debbie (Don) Roop-Schwamberger, Terry Roop, Gaylene (Ken) Roop-McGrath, Roxann Burtscher-Nidiffer, and Dawn Burtscher.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with services beginning at noon at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Avenue, Toledo, Ohio. A celebration of Tina's life will follow the services, with additional details to be announced during the services.
