Timothy "Tweed" Reed

Timothy “Tweed” Reed, 57, of Genoa, passed away Friday, May 29, 2020 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. He was born on May 12, 1963 in Oregon, OH. Tim served in the U.S. Army and held several important jobs including millwright, jack of all trades, stay at home father and volunteer extraordinaire. Tim was always involved in a project of some kind and could be found with a tool in his hand and a smile on his face. Tim devoted his time to his friends and family. He was a huge supporter of all things Genoa. He served on the Genoa Village Council, the Genoa Homecoming set up Committee, coached the Genoa Area Youth Baseball League, built the Genoa Veteran’s Park baseball dugouts, and volunteered to paint the Genoa High School football fields for Friday night football games. Tim was an avid Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes fan. Tim is survived by his wife, Candace, son, Hunter Reed, step-children, Aricca, Ashley, and Zakk, father, Walter (Hilda) Reed, mother, Sharon Reed, brothers, Steve (Connie) Reed and Scott (Amy) Reed, and step-brother, Shawn (Kristin) Reed, nieces, Amanda, Nicole, and Lindsey, nephew, Levi and grandchildren, Wyatt, Maddie, Autumn and Jaylynn. Visitation for Tim will be held Wednesday, June 3, 2020 from 2-8 p.m. at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, OH. Due to the current coronavirus pandemic the family asks anyone who is sick or has concerns refrain from attending. Social distancing and hand hygiene restrictions will be observed during the visiting hours. Memorial contributions in memory of Tim can be given to the Genoa Area Youth Baseball League.
