Timothy J. Potter

Timothy J. Potter, age 70 of Toledo passed away Monday, June 4, 2012 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. He was born July 9, 1941 in Toledo to Clarence and Lucille Lenhart Potter. A 1959 graduate of Burnham High School, he began working for Basilius Inc. after graduation and earned his journeymans card in tool and die. He continued working for Basilius until his retirement in July of 2011 except for 8 years when he owned and operated T J Mold and Tool company. Tim enjoyed spending time with his family, woodworking, working on cars, sitting outside in the sunshine, and listening to talk radio. Preceded in death by his parents and nephew Matthew Potter, he is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sally; daughters Debbie Whitmore, Tess Potter, Lynn Patrick Chambers and Pam Al Romero; grandchildren Lindsay, Todd, Sean, Joe, Hanna, Olivia, Mario, Camryn and Evan; and brother Terry Sandra Potter. Friends may visit the family on Thursday from 2-8 PM in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey where funeral services will be conducted Friday at 11 AM with entombment to follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
