Timothy J. “TJ” Mauter, 65 of Oregon, died Saturday, April 19, 2014, surrounded by his family. Tim was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force proudly serving his country during the Vietnam War 1967–1971 in the 7th Air Force 483rd cams 487 TPL Wing. Rank E-5 with honorable discharge. He worked for Buckeye Pipeline as a pipeline operator then as an electronics technician. Joining Dome Pipeline as technician, supervisor and later as district manager. Tim enjoyed helping others and caring for his mother for 5 years. He enjoyed getting together with family and friends. Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Helen (Eddy) Mauter and infant brother, Gary. He is survived by his brothers, Michael (Lori) and Gregory (BJ) Mauter; sisters, Kathleen (Michael) Colbry and Karen (Duck) Hess; children, Mark Cousino, Kelly Milligan, Kimberly Riehl, Jonathon McIntyre and Brandon Mauter; 4 grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends. Visitation at the Hoeflinger-Bolander Funeral Home, 3500 Navarre Ave., Oregon, Ohio will be held from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2014. Funeral services on Wednesday will begin with prayers at the funeral home at 9:15 followed by Mass of Christian burial, 10:00 a.m. at St. Ignatius Catholic Church. Interment services will be held at St. Ignatius Cemetery.
