Timothy H. Smith

Timothy H. Smith, affectionately known as Tim or Timmy, passed away on October 19, 2024. Born on May 5, 1965, Tim was a 1985 graduate of Port Clinton High School.

Tim enjoyed fishing, watching classic TV shows, and cheering for the Cleveland Browns. He had a terrific sense of humor and loved making everyone laugh. His favorite foods were good fried chicken and Reese’s cups.

In his youth, Tim played football and baseball both at school and in neighborhood backyards with numerous cousins and his longtime best friends, who will miss him dearly. His frequent phone calls were filled with childhood reminiscing and laughter.

Tim is survived by his son, Zach Smith (Ashley Kimmet), and granddaughter, Camryn, of Sandusky, OH; his sisters, Lisa (Dave) White of Port Clinton, OH, and Rhonda (Tom Brennan) of Pataskala, OH; and his mother-in-law, Phyllis Morrison of Port Clinton, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Nancy (McGlothlin) Smith, and his wife, Cathy Smith.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
