Timothy Allen "Bubba" Giovanoli, 62 years old of Rossford, died unexpectedly December 28, 2024. He was surrounded by his loving family when God called him home. He was preceded in death by his parents: Richard "Gino" Giovanoli and Barbara (Rapp) Giovanoli, twin brother Thomas, sister Tina and niece Tiffany. Left to remember him are his children: Stephanie (Jason) Bean, Paul Giovanoli and Morgan (Jefferey) Giovanoli, grandchild Troy Bean, Brothers: Todd (Paula), Terry (Michelle), Tony and Scott, multiple nieces and nephews, along with his sister in law Denice and life long friend Natalie (Stolar) Giovanoli.
Tim went to Cardinal Stritch and graduated in 1980. He was a meat cutter for many years before he got a job on Norfolk Southern Railroad. After 25 years of service he was working on retiring. He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan and Ohio State fan. He loved to play bocci ball, bowl and was very passionate about golf. He loved to share the course with his children, brothers, nephews and friends. He always looked forward to his yearly trip to South Carolina to golf with all his railroad buddies.
A special shout out to his friend Thomas McAlear for all the care, advice and concern he showed him. Special thanks to Marybel in Toledo Hospital ICU for her loving care of Tim in his final days.
Services will be held at Sujkowski-Walker Funeral Home, 830 Lime City Road, Rossford, Ohio, on January 17, 2025, from 2 to 8 pm. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at 10 am at All Saints Catholic Church, with a brief visitation from 9 to 10 am before Mass. Wake will follow, interment will be private. Any donations can be made to the family to help with funeral expenses and medical bills in this turbulent time.
