Tim Edward Martin

Tim E. Martin, age 60, passed away on December 14, 2024. Tim was born on May 4, 1964, to parents Harry and Jane Martin. Tim was a lifelong resident of Toledo and graduated from Macomber High School where he studied avionics. Following graduation, he joined the Navy and proudly served his country for over five years.

There are many ways to describe Tim, but at the center was the fact that he lived his life his own way. He was determined, and when he decided he was going to do something you could consider it done. As recently as October, Tim decided he was going to see the states and took a last-minute two-week road trip around the country against doctors’ orders. He was funny and quirky, always ready with a joke or an insight from his unique way of seeing the world. Through everything, his soft-spoken love for his family and friends shone through.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Ryker; and siblings, Peggy, Dave, and Debbie. He is survived by his daughter, Ariel; siblings, Harry (Mary), Linda, David (Linda), Tony (Theresa), Harry, Beverly, and Lucas; and many other friends and family who loved him dearly.

Friends and family are invited to visit at Walker Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 3500 Navarre Ave, Oregon, OH, on Friday, December 20, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Military honors for Tim’s service will take place at 6 p.m.
