Thomas Ray Wehner, 72, died on Thursday, January 19, 2023, after putting up a long fight at Bay Park Hospital. Thomas was born on January 9, 1951. He lived his entire life in Rocky Ridge and retired from Brush Wellman.
Thomas was proceeded in death by his parents, Lois and Ray Wehner. He is survived by his siblings, Lee (Deb) Wehner, Judy (Mike) Lacer and Jean (Jerry) Schultz; daughters, Carrie (Eric Wolf) Shanteau and Angie (Bill) Webert; many grandchildren, Brooke (Anthony Hodulik) Shanteau, Chloe (Nick) Delauter, Conner, Xavier and Maverick Webert, Allison (Dustin Thorbahn) Wolf and Britnee (Richard) Harris; great grandchildren, Knox, Navy and Nash Harris.
To some he was known as Tom, but he went by many different names: dad, papa, grumpa, and our favorite “supervisor Tom.” Thomas was a one-of-a-kind man; he was an avid Browns and Indians fan and was part of the Sons of American Legion and the Eagles Club. He loved to be around his family (short periods at a time of course) and loved to entertain. You could count on Tom to feed you sweet treats and make yummy drinks. Life will not be the same without Tom and his commentary, he will be forever missed.
