Thomas Lee Wallace, age 71, of Maumee, Ohio passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2017 at his residence. He was born on July 28, 1946 in Dayton, Ohio to Ralph and DeSales (Schmidt) Wallace. Tom was many things professionally, but most of all a family man and great provider for his family. Being a car enthusiast and a “perfectionist,” he loved to research and learn in great detail about everything, and was known for reading thoroughly the instructions, counting and lining up all the pieces, and reading all manuals before he would begin. Tom was also a member of St. Joan of Arc Parish in Toledo. Tom is survived by his children, Jason (Kelly) Wallace, Jeremy Wallace and Leah (Michael) Wilson; grandchildren, Riley, Sylvia and Zoe; sisters, Sharon (Dr. Kenneth) Kropp and Vickie (Ron) Capitena; nieces and nephews, Brent (Michelle) Ryan, Megan (David) Kalman, Jenna (Dennis) Burke and Cara (Steve) Young. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Lee Ryan. Visitation will be held from 4-7 pm on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio with a scripture service at 7pm. The funeral mass will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at St. Joan of Arc Parish, Toledo, Ohio. Entombment will be in Highland Memory Gardens, Waterville, Ohio
