Thomas “Tom” Ceccoli, 68, of Port Clinton died Friday, December 18, 2015 at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky. He was born on February 13, 1947 in Port Clinton to Louis “Geno” and Mary Ellen (Milliser) Ceccoli, Sr. Tom graduated from Port Clinton High School in 1965 and just recently celebrated his 50th reunion with his class. On February 16, 1973 at Resurrection Lutheran Church, Catawba Island he married Dorothea “Dori” Gordon, and she survives. He worked for Standard Products for 19 years, and as an auto body repairman and tow truck driver for Ken’s Body Paint for 12 years before retiring. Tom liked hot rod cars, especially his 1970 Nova, motorcycles, riding around on his scooter, and going to car shows. He liked to play cards and was in a couples Canasta group. Tom loved to tell jokes and his goal was to make 5 people smile every day. He never met a stranger. Tom was an awesome husband and father. In addition to his loving wife of 42 years, Dori, he is survived by his daughters: Amy (Mike Pope) Ceccoli, Lisa (DJ Nash) Ceccoli, and Gina (Mike Grace) Ceccoli, mother: Mary Ellen Ceccoli-Sams, brother: Louis “Butch” Ceccoli, Jr., Aunt Marge Uncle Joe Busby, nephews, great nieces nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father and step-father: Gil Sams. A Celebration of Tom’s Life will be conducted by Pastor Bruce Batchelor-Glader at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 22, 2015 with a memorial gathering two hours prior from 3-5 p.m. at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, 216 Washington St., Port Clinton.
