Thomas W Sicha

Thomas William Sicha, 72 of Whitehouse, Ohio, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, December 11, 2022. He was born on February 4, 1950 to Theodore and Katherine (Millner) Sicha in Toledo, OH. Tom graduated from Macomber Vocational High School in 1968, before starting his tool and die apprenticeship. Following that, Tom worked as a tool and die maker for Ford Motor CO. at Maumee Stamping for 30 years. Then, upon retirement, he worked part time at Enterprise.

Tom enjoyed many things including golf with his wonderful friends, brother, and son, as well as playing cards. He was also an avid reader. He will be remembered for his kind and gentle nature and his compassion for all life.

Tom is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Carol Sue Sicha; son Eric Thomas (Lisa Pallo) Sicha; daughter Jennifer Lynn (Joel) Wardlaw; grandchildren Aiden (Cammy Van-Alst), Stella and Addie; brother Theodore F. (Angie) Sicha Jr.; sister Amy Sicha (Dave) Say; and many family members and dear friends whose company is treasured. He is preceded in death by his brother Arnold Sicha, and both his parents.

Friends will be received Friday, December 16, 2022 from 9:30-10:30 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church (104 W Broadway St, Maumee, OH 43537). A memorial mass will follow immediately at 10:30 AM. Memorial contributions in Tom’s honor may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Heartbeat of Toledo, or the Toledo Humane Society.
