Thomas Tom H. Pollock, 78, of Toledo, passed away surrounded by his loving family on November 2, 2013. Tom was born in Mt. Vernon, Ohio on October 18, 1935 and raised by the Sears family. Married to Shirley Clark Pollock, the love of his life, for 57 years. Tom grew up in Mt. Vernon and graduated from Sparta High School as president of his senior class, then attended the Ohio State University. He was President and Owner of Pollock Painting. His passion for painting and wallpapering continued beyond his retirement years. Toms desire for learning never diminished. This lead to many a fun and interesting conversation. Tom loved to talk and visit his favorite store The Andersons. Tom was very active in Ft. Industry Chapter, Eastern Stars, and at different times the Masonic Order, and the Zenobia Shrine. He was a creative and talented gardener; his rose bushes and flowers brought delight to many eyes. He was a huge lover of animals, especially dogs! They just knew he was a good guy and an easy mark for a snack. Tom is survived by his wife Shirley Pollock, his two children, Larry Pollock and wife Melodee, Terri Kruse and husband Kim Tony and two grandchildren, Kenny and Kari Kruse. Viewing will be held Tuesday, November 5, 2013, from 1pm to 7pm with an Eastern Stars Services at 6:30 PM. A prayer service will begin at 7p.m. Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W.
