Thomas Plotner

Thomas Anthony Plotner, 70, of Rossford, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Tom was born June 12, 1954 in Toledo, Ohio to Herbert and Genevieve (Byers) Plotner. He attended Whitmer High School and married Barbara Thornton on July 26, 1975.

Tom worked at Crown Cork and Seal Company in Perrysburg Township for 26 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, whether he was fishing, hunting or camping. He was a history buff and spent countless hours on his motorcycle with Barb, going through the mountains, riding to Myrtle Beach and spending time at Sturgis. He will be remembered for his quick wit, love for his family, and his charismatic personality.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara; daughter, Kimberly Ann (Troy) Clayton; sons, Michael Sean (Fiancé, Brianna Pellow) Plotner and Christopher Thomas Plotner; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, brother, Robert Plotner and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
