Thomas Francis Michalski

Thomas Francis Michalski, born January 8, 1949 to Stephen and Sophia Michalski in Toledo, Ohio was received into Gods grace on August 4, 2018 at the age of 69. Tom met his future bride in 1967 Carol Ann (Uerkwitz) at Bowsher High School. They married in 1969 and recently celebrated 49 years of wedded bliss. Tom received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Toledo University in 1972. He and Carol lived in Maumee while Tom took a job with Owens-Illinois as a software engineer, where he received several patents. Tom also worked at Electro Plasma Inc, Non Contact International and Finishing Brands. He was a devoted husband and became a loving father and grandfather to his two sons, Greg and Chris and granddaughter Colleen Michalski. Tom and Carol loved vacationing in Marblehead and relaxing on the boat. He enjoyed electronics and was always tinkering with computers and software. Tom was preceded in death by his father, Stephen and sister, Stephanie. He is survived by his mother, Sophia; wife, Carol; sons, Greg and Chris; granddaughter, Colleen Michalski and sister, Jeanette (Harry Jr.) Morell. Visitation will be held from 3-8 pm on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am on Thursday, August 9, 2018 in the funeral home. Interment will be in Fort Meigs Union Cemetery, Perrysburg, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Cherry Street Mission.
