Thomas Hertzfeld

Thomas R. Hertzfeld Sr., age 81, of Waterville, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021. He was born on December 21, 1939 in Holland, OH to James and Georgette Hertzfeld. Tom graduated from Maumee High School and The University of Toledo receiving a bachelor’s degree in business. Tom started his career at Ohio Citizens where he met his future wife, Gloria Zwyer. He then joined Huntington Bank before completing his career at UTMC Credit Union. He was an avid golfer and tennis player. He loved running and competed in the Detroit International and Class City Marathons. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Gloria; son, Thomas R. Hertzfeld Jr..; brothers, Robert (Mary) Hertzfeld, Michael Hertzfeld, and John (Bridgette) Schohl. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his son, Matthew and cousin, Jim Cannaley. Family and friends will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee on Sunday, January 17, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
