Thomas Allen Gunn, Sr.

Thomas Allen Gunn Sr., age 73, of Monclova, Ohio passed away on Friday, April 21, 2017 at his residence. He was born on October 6, 1943 in Monclova, Ohio to Jesse and Rose (Burkert) Gunn. Tom was a 1962 graduate of Anthony Wayne High School and still enjoyed following their sport teams. He worked for Teledyne CAE for 45 years and was also the owner/operator of Gunns Tree Farm. Tom attended Calvary Church in Maumee, Ohio and enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting and woodworking (where his talents helped build Roberts Chapel in Monclova.) Tom is survived by his wife, Paulette Lette; children, Saraah (Tony) Trendafilov, Heather (Wesley) Riggio, Thomas Allen Gunn Jr., and Carrie (Rick) Burns; grandchildren, Thomas III, Kylie, Emily, Michael, Andrew, Seth, Lily, Luke, Ethan, Shane, Logan, Austin, and Abbigail; great grandchildren, Logan, Addison, Layla and one on the way; brother, Jim (Irene) Gunn; sister, Sharon (Jim) Taylor and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Dolores Peg Gunn. Visitation will be at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street Maumee, Ohio from 3-8 pm on Monday, April 24, 2017. Funeral services will be held at Calvary Church, Maumee, Ohio at 11 am on Tuesday, April 25, 2017. Interment will be in Roth Cemetery, Monclova, Ohio.
