Thomas J. Griesinger

Thomas J. Griesinger age 70 of Toledo, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at St. Vincent-Mercy Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Tom was born September 18, 1938 in Toledo to Albert J. and Marie Beam. A 1957 graduate of Maumee High School, Tom was employed by the Village of Ottawa Hills for forty seven years retiring in 2005 as General Foreman of maintenance. Each year Tom played Santa for various functions throughout the city during the holidays. He enjoyed building motorized model boats, woodworking and going to casinos. He is survived by his sons, Thomas Tracy, Ralph Katie and Albert Debbie; daughters, Lisa Terry Jourdain Pegorch, Debbie Tresso; ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters, Rose Jack Bess Charland, Alice Griesinger, Jane Adkins and many nieces and nephew and his faithful canine companion Snowball. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Sharon; son, Lee Griesinger; parents; brothers, Donald and Ronald; sisters, Ruth Lemon, Dorothy Jackson and Susan Griesinger; son-in-law, Steve; brothers-in-law, Ed Adkins, Robert Charland and Hubert Jackson. Friends may call at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, Maumee on Friday, October 3, 2008 from 3-9 PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 4560 Glendale Avenue, Toledo, Ohio.
