Thomas J. Fryman

Thomas "Tom" Joseph Fryman, 77, of Waterville, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, June 17th, 2025. Tom was born on October 29th, 1947, in Millbury, Ohio, and was the son of Ervin ("Butch") and Eleanor (Crayford) Fryman. Tom was a 1965 graduate of Lake Township high school.

Tom will forever be remembered for his kindness and love for those he cherished. He was always a lifelong fan of many teams, but his true favorites were U of M, Detroit Tigers, and the UT Rockets.

His love of hats and coats will never be matched by another. He had bartering and trading down to science and always seemed to come out ahead.

He was a veteran of the Navy, where he proudly wanted to follow in the footsteps of his oldest brother, Ervin Jr., so, he too could serve, honor, and protect our great country.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Dave, Dennis, and Ervin Jr. ("Brother") Fryman; sisters, Alvina Krotzer, Shirlene Gautney, and Sally McFarland. Uncle Tom will be missed by his nieces and nephews, his longtime guardian Dave M., and the many friends and care staff he had throughout the 15 years he resided at Heritage Village of Waterville.

Until we meet again, enjoy that great family reunion with Grandpa & Grandma and ALL of your siblings. We love you.

Visitation will be held at the Walker Funeral Home in Oregon, OH on Saturday June 28, 2025, from 10-11 am, where the funeral will begin at 11 am. Burial will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you enjoy a Marco's Pizza washed down with a cold RC cola and enjoy some Whitman's Chocolate for dessert, as those were his favorite treats.
