Thomas Neil Tom Czerwiec

Thomas “Tom” Neil Czerwiec, age 68, of Perrysburg, passed away, Wednesday, January 23, 2019. He was born September 25, 1950 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Julian and Betty (Fast) Czerwiec. Tom retired from Toledo Edison after working 40 years as an electrician. He served his country by enlisting in the United States Army from 1972-1975. He continued his work as an electrician after retirement, working with local clients. Tom enjoyed golfing and going out on his boat fishing with his friends on Lake Erie. Tom loved attending Toledo Walleye Hockey games with his wife Lisa. Left to cherish Tom’s memory is his loving wife of 42 years, Lisa Czerwiec; sons, Neil and Colin Czerwiec; sister, Pam Wolf; beloved aunt, Jeanne Zurat; and many nieces and nephews. Tom was preceded in death by his uncle, Marius Zurat and brother-in-law, Dennis Wolf. A Memorial Mass will be held at Saint John XXIII, 24250 North Dixie Hwy, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551 Monday, January 28, 2019 at 10:30 A.M. Following Mass, family will be receiving friends from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 East South Boundary, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551 (419-874-3133).
