Thomas Pat Connors

Thomas Patrick Connors, age 62, died on February 19, 2018 due to injuries sustained in an auto accident. He was born February 19, 1956 in Toledo to the late Thomas John and Myra (Hodges) Connors. Pat was a Millwright at OmniSource in Toledo and had previously worked with the Nazar Rubber Co. for almost 30 years. He was a member of Teamsters Local 20. Pat was the best husband, dad, papa, brother, and friend you could ask for. He was intelligent, humble, caring and greatly admired for his dedication to family. Pat was a strong mentor, had the ability to fix or build anything, could light up a room with his smile and bring joy and laughter with his terrific sense of humor. He enjoyed the simple pleasures, especially riding his Harley and fishing for walleye. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of over 40 years, Becky (Smith) Connors; daughter, Jodi Connors; grandchildren whom he adored, Thomas Kane and Kailyn Connors; sisters, Colleen Connors, Jeanne Miller and Cathy Schardt; numerous nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his son, Thomas Ben Connors; and sister, Abby Connors. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-8 p.m. in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.). Services will begin in the funeral home on Friday with prayers at 10:15 a.m. and proceed to Little Flower Catholic Church, 5522 Dorr Street, for 11:00 a.m. funeral Mass. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the church or St. Benedict School.
