Thomas B. Buster

Buster Thomas B. Thomas B. Buster, age 81, passed away on October 16, 2009 at his home. The son of Thomas A. and Jessie Buster, he was born October 8, 1928 in Toledo, OH. Tom attended St. Agnes and was a graduate of Central Catholic High School. He was a US Navy Veteran for 8 years, serving in the Korean War aboard the USS Saratoga, USS Sumter, and USS Shenandoah. He was a mechanic for Jeep retiring after 29 years. Tom was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Sylvania, Knights of Columbus, and American Legion. Tom loved Polish music, traveling, and fishing. Tom is survived by his wife, Adela; daughter, Elisa Douglas Lash; two grandchildren, Kelly and Terry Lash; and brother, Robert Diane Buster. Friends may visit the family on Sunday from 4:00-9:00 PM at the Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd with the Rosary at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will begin with prayers on Monday at the funeral home at 9:30 AM followed by Mass of the Resurrection at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Sylvania.
