THOMAS M. BOSL Thomas M. Bosl, passed away Friday, August 17, 2012. Tom was born October 25, 1951 in Cleveland, Ohio to George and Rosemary (Polk) Bosl. He graduated with a Master’s degree from Bowling Green State University in Administration. Tom married Debra Kuhlman on July 7, 1984 in Perrysburg, Ohio. Tom worked as a teacher for Lake Local Schools and retired in 2004. Tom was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church. He was an avid basketball player in his younger years; loved the Bowling Green Falcons, the Cleveland Indians and Notre Dame. He enjoyed reading and trivia. Tom was a proud Mustang owner and enjoyed listening to music, especially the Beatles. Tom’s greatest assets in his life were his children, Kevin and Emily. He always told people, “I won the lottery” when his children were born. He was a baseball coach and an avid score keeper, never missing a game throughout Kevin’s baseball years, or decorating the Christmas tree with Emily. When it came to Tom, “What you see, is what you get.” He will be remembered for his dry sense of humor and his love for his family. Tom is survived by his wife, Debra; children, Kevin and Emily; siblings, Dr. George (Susan) Bosl, Kathleen Bosl, Margaret (Jack) Perusek and Jerome (Lori) Bosl; sisters-in-law, Carol (Bill) Overmyer and Linda (Frank) Pavia; nieces and nephews, Christine (Ryan) Blaney, Michael (Stephanie) Bosl, Gregory (Jen) Bosl, Maria (Jason) Heimburger, Matthew and Luke Bosl, Angela Violi, Amy (Ryan Landi) Overmyer and Kurt Overmyer. He was preceded in death by his parents and mother and father-in-law, Dale and Gerry Kuhlman. Friends will be received Tuesday, August 21, 2012 from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg (419-874-3133). A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Rose Catholic Church, 215 E. Front Street, Perrysburg. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, per Tom’s request, memorial contributions may be made to The American Heart Association or Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg.
