Thomas J Bobak

Thomas “Tom” J. Bobak, 66, of Perrysburg, Ohio died Sunday, August 5, 2018 at his home with his loving wife by his side. He was born in Rossford, Ohio on November 19, 1951 to John and Geraldine(Stanislawski) Bobak. Tom graduated from Rossford High School. He held many jobs throughout his life including working for the United States Postal Service, managing a golf course in Texas and most recently working for Target unloading merchandise from the trucks. Tom married Shirley A. Skunda on May 19, 2007 in Side Cut Metro Park. They were members of St. Rose Catholic Church in Perrysburg. Tom enjoyed sports especially Ohio State Football, golfing and going to Las Vegas to play the slot machines. Tom is survived by his loving wife, Shirley A. Bobak; his children, Laurel Bobak, Jonathan Bobak and April (James) Zimmer; brother, Gary Bobak and sisters, Joyce (Robert) Hines and Kim (Ken) Majewski. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends will be received at Witzler Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary St., Perrysburg, Ohio (419-874-3133) on Sunday, August 12, 2018 from 2:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. with a Rosary Service at 7:00 P.M. On Monday, August 13 at 10:30 A.M. a funeral mass for Tom will be held in St. Rose Catholic Church, 215 East Front St., Perrysburg, Ohio. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers the Bobak family request that donations may be made in Tom’s name to a church or a charity of the donor’s choice.
