BIRTHISEL Thomas H. Tom Thomas H. Tom Birthisel, born July 7, 1954, died April 10, 2008 Tom lived 53 years. He fought MS with courage for 21 years of his life. He was born in Charleston, West Virginia to Patricia S. Doak Birthisel and V.H. Tim Birthisel. Tom received his Bachelor of Science degree from Bowling Green State University in 1980 majoring in Sales and International Business. He worked for the Toledo Chamber of Commerce of Ohio and other local businesses. He is survived by his parents; brother, Timothy Susan McMahan Birthisel; nieces, Megan Stewart, Mollie and Katie; sister, Susan C. Charles W. Schmalzried; nephew John C. and niece, Jessica Sue. At his passing he was surrounded by his family and aunt and close family friend. Tom will be missed by us; his spirit, individuality and courage were a joy. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the First United Methodist Church, Perrysburg, OH with Rev. Terry Powell presiding. The family will be available prior to the memorial service starting at 10:30 a.m. and following the service at a lunch in the church basement.
