Theresa Ann Weislak

Theresa Ann (Terri) Weislak passed away peacefully on Monday September 6, 2021 at Promedica Toledo Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was 63 years old. Terri was born in Toledo, Ohio on October 19, 1957 to Richard and Mary Jo (McBride) Hanudel. She graduated from Waite High School in 1975 and the Toledo Hospital School of Nursing in 1978. From 1978 until 2005, Terri worked as a registered nurse at Toledo Hospital, primarily in the pediatric intensive care unit and the neonatal intensive care unit. She was a part of one of the first LifeFlight transport teams for the Toledo Children’s Hospital and was a fixture at Career Day at her childrens’ schools. Terri loved the nursing profession and she cared for each child as though they were her own. Terri was a very involved mother, always on hand to run a classroom holiday party or organize a bake sale. Her children were the most important thing in her life, and she did everything she could to ensure they grew up knowing they were loved and that she would always be there for them, no matter what. Terri is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Greg; children Brandon, Taylor, and Brett; beloved tabby cat, Frankie; brothers Richard, David, Daniel, Steven, and Vincent; sisters Janet, Pamela, and Patricia; and her numerous in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Mary Jo; her beloved aunt Nan McBride; her favorite uncle Stan Tomsic; cousin Gary Tomsic; cousin Barb Rudnicki; father and mother-in-law, John and Dorothy Weislak; brother-in-law Jim Struble; nephew Jamie Struble, and many other beloved friends and family. Visitation will be from 4-8:00 pm on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Avenue (west of Corey Rd.) where funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:30 am.
