Theresa "Terry" Marie Babcock

Terry (Magrum) Babcock Theresa Marie Babcock, age 93, passed away April 27, 2021 at her home in Columbus, OH. She was born August 22, 1927, in Perrysburg, OH to Helen Margaret Shiple and Leonard Peter Magrum. She married Lawrence Elza Babcock on August 24, 1948 at St. Rose Catholic Church in Perrysburg, OH. Terry was a member of St. Rose Church for many years ministering to the needy and cancer victims. Her passions were being a seamstress, cats, playing the organ, and baking. Terry was employed with Thrifty Weavers and Wizard Weavers and did reweaving in her home for over 70 years. Terry is surviving by hers sons, Eugene (Lenore), Jeffery and Matthew Babcock; daughters, Joyce Bryant and Sandie Wolking (Karl); sisters, Rita Mae Klar, Fran Weis (Dan Rothenbuhler) and Judy Williams (Steve); nine grandchildren, Keith Bryant, Kenny Bryant (Sara), Candice Myers (James), Nikki Babcock, Lisa Sykes (Ed), Jolin Calhoun (Dwayne), Jennifer Shaub (Rob), Matthew and Megan Babcock; eleven great-grandchildren, Brooke, Madison, Hope, Kevin, Dylan, Logan, Kaden, Derek, Kayla, Kyle and Hayley. In addition to her parents, Terry was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence; sons, Bruce and Larry Babcock; brothers, Charles (Lena), Aloysius (Alice), Robert (Shelly) and sisters, Suzanne Hagan, Mary Worchuck (Ed) and Pat Weis (Bernie). Visitation will be held at St. Rose Catholic Church, 215 E. Front St., Perrysburg, OH on Saturday, May 8, 2021 from 10:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Waterville, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Rose Catholic Church or the charity of the donor's choice.
