THERESA M. STEVENS Theresa M. Stevens, 58, passed away peacefully, Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Theresa was born November 10, 1960 in Dayton, Ohio to Luke and Laura (Conrad) Schoenlein. Theresa was a 1979 graduate of Perrysburg High School and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University in Accounting. Theresa married James A. Stevens on October 8, 1983 in Perrysburg, Ohio and he preceded her in death on December 21, 1995. Theresa was a teacher at St. John’s County School District in Ponte Vedra, Florida; where she was advisor of the Astronomy Club and the football score board keeper. She was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, where she taught CCD for many years. She enjoyed tennis, jazzercise, reading on the beach and going to movies. She is survived by her children; Sara Stevens, Erin Stevens and Landan Stevens, her father, Luke; and siblings, Mark (Meg) Schoenlein, Rebecca (Doug) Williams, John (Joyce) Schoenlein, William (Beth) Schoenlein and Julia (John) Pile and many nieces and nephews. Along with her husband, James, she was preceded in death by her mom, Laura. Per Theresa’s request, services will be private. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, Perrysburg (419-874-3133). Memorial contributions may be made in Theresa’s name to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E.
