Theresa Rose Mandoline

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held on Saturday, February 9, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 343 Via Mt. Carmel, Youngstown, OH 44505; with Monsignor Michael Cariglio, Jr. officiating, preceded by 9:15 a.m. prayer service at the Rossi Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman, OH 44512, for Theresa Rose Mandoline, 85, formerly of Youngstown, who died on Sunday, February 3, 2013. Theresa Rose Frazzini Mandoline was born on July 28, 1927, and died on February 3, 2013. She was born in Youngstown, Ohio, to Vincenzo and Anna Frazzini. Theresa married Julius Mandoline on June 21, 1947. She was preceded in death by Julius, who died on August 3, 2008. They lived in Liberty Township, Ohio, until 2002 then moved to Canton, Michigan. Theresa moved to Genoa, Ohio, after the death of Julius. She was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and while there belonged to the Mothers of the Crucifix Society, St. Monica Guild and Senior Citizens Club. After moving to Canton, she joined St. Thomas a Becket Parish, where she was a member of the Poke-n-Stab Quilters, the Bunco Club and The STA-50 Club. Theresa was a graduate of East High School and enjoyed arts and crafts, cooking and baking, playing Bingo, shopping and Bunco. She loved everything about the Genoa Retirement Center. She leaves her daughter, Joyce Hansen Hans of Canton, MI, daughter, Elaine Chrismas Robert of Genoa, granddaughter, Charina Hansen of Canton and grandson, Chris Hansen Emily of Novi, MI, and her sister, Rose Janesh of Struthers. Friends may call Friday, February 8, 2013, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Rossi Santucci Funeral Home, Boardman, OH. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery, 248 S. Belle Vista Ave., Youngstown, OH 44509. Memorials for Theresa may be given to the Genoa Retirement Village, 300 Cherry St., Genoa, OH 43430; or to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. River Rd., Perrysburg, OH 43551. Local arrangements have been handled by the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory of Genoa, Ohio.
