Theresa Lohman

Theresa “Terri” Lohman, 74, of Maumee, OH passed away at her home, peacefully on June 14, 2024, with her husband Gerald by her side. Terri was born on June 5, 1950, in Mt. Clemens, MI, to Leonard and Nina Lajeunesse.

Terri’s passion for healthcare led her to pursue a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from Robert Morris University. She also had a Masters in Midwifery from the University of Michigan and in Family Practice Nurse Practitioner from MCO. She dedicated her life to caring for others, working at Hutzel Hospital, Detroit Medical Center, Foote Hospital and various Toledo Clinics. Her patients and her family remember her as an intelligent, compassionate nurse who responded to their needs anytime, anywhere.

Beyond her professional life, Terri had a rich personal life. She enjoyed singing with the “Pride of Toledo” and the Scioto Valley Chorus of Sweet Adelines International. Her hobbies included cross-stitching and studying medicine. Terri’s love for travel took her to places like Walt Disney World several times as she was a huge Disney fan, Hawaii and Mexico, where she cherished unique memories with her family.

Terri is survived by her husband, Gerald (Jerry) Lohman, whom she married in 2004; her son, Robert “Bob” Duchon; grandchildren, Trinity and Dominic Duchon; siblings, Michele LaJeunesse and Charles (Debbie) LaJeunesse. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Nina; son, Andrew Duchon; and brother, James Allen LaJeunesse
