Theresa Evelyn Delaney, 86, of Perrysburg, Ohio, died Tuesday, September 25, 2012, at Bridge Hospice in Bowling Green, Ohio. She was born on February 26, 1926, in Corry, Pennsylvania, to Edmund and Evelyn Sullivan Roach. She was a graduate of Corry High School and obtained a degree in Cosmetology. She married Guy Delaney and they later moved to Perrysburg, where she was primarily a homemaker. Her husband preceded her, dying in 2008. Theresa was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church, where she served for many years helping with bereavement meals and rummage sales. She also had apassion for providing meals to friends in need. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, shopping, and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Richard Murphy and Sara John DeCessna; grandchildren: Reshma Derasari, Amol Raval, Jeanette, Joshua, and Rebekah Murphy; John and Laura DeCessna; great-grandchildren, Reyna and Dylan Derasari, and sister Joan Mennor. Friends and family will be received from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., on Saturday, October 6th, at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio. A memorial service will then be held at 4:00 p.m., at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Jerry Hunt of Word of Truth Christian Center.
