Ted Baginski, 91, of Monclova, OH, passed away peacefully Tuesday evening February 21, 2023 at Kingston Rehab of Perrysburg. Ted was born July 26, 1931 in Toledo, the youngest of six children, to Walter and Sadie (Matuzewski) Baginski. He married the love of his life Shirley Ann Kott on September 4, 1954 at St. Hyacinth Church, and they were blessed with 68 beautiful years together. Ted served in the US Army during the Korean War, being honorably discharged in 1952. Ted was employed at the Landers Corp as an inspector for 25 years. He went on to work as a millwright for 20 years at the Ford Motor Stamping Plant, Maumee, retiring in 1993.
Ted was an avid sportsman, who enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, camping, and golf. One of his proudest moments was a “hole-in-one” on a par 3 at Imperial Lakes Golf Club in Florida. Ted looked forward to the deer hunting season in the fall with his son-in-law Bob in Zanesville.
Ted and his wife enjoyed traveling. They visited several European countries and took numerous cruises, the best and most memorable was the trip to Alaska.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Shirley Baginski; daughter, Diane Krasniewski; brother-in-law, Richard (Jan) Kott; sister-in-law, Christine (Tom) Raszka; and many nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.

He never looked for praises
He was never one to boast
He just went on quietly working
For the ones he loved the most
His dreams were seldom spoken
His wants were very few
And most of the time his worries
went unspoken too
He was always there….a firm foundation
Through all our storms in life
A steady hand to hold on to
In times of stress and strife
Now our lives will go on without him
and nothing will ever be the same
We have to hide our heartache when someone speaks your name
Sad are the hearts that love you, silent are the tears that fall
Living without you will be the hardest part of all.
