Theodora Szymkowiak

Theodora Teddy Szymkowiak, born August 15, 1928, age 81, passed away on December 18, 2009, in her home. Teddy is survived by her daughter, Dawn Szymkowiak of Maumee, OH and son, Alan Kathy Szymkowiak of Fairfax, VA; grandchildren, Tammy Calabrese, Dave Carey Calabrese, Tina, Alan II, and Erica Szymkowiak and many great grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Teddy will be missed, always loved and remembered by all. She loved her three sewing groups and all her friends. Family and friends may visit Monday, December 21, 2009 from 2-8 p.m. in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, OH. Funeral services will begin Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Catholic Church. Memorials in Teddys memory may be made to the family. To My Dearest Grandmother: We all have our angels and you dear grandmother were definitely ours. Your love and laughter was like a glue holding us tight. Now your soul is soaring like a kite. I know you are here watching over all of us. Muttering for us to not make a fuss.
