Thelma A. Schrader

Thelma A. Schrader, 84, of Oak Harbor, died Monday afternoon, September 5, 2011, in Elizabeth Scott Nursing Home, Maumee, Ohio. She was born January 9, 1927, in Elmore, Ohio, to Theodore and Wilhelmina Buck Knoch. On June 1, 1946, in Elmore she married Daryl W. Doc Schrader and he preceded her in death September 11, 1994. Thelma was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Oak Harbor. She owned and operated Thelmas Beauty Shop in Oak Harbor from 1960-2001. She is survived by her two daughters, Judy A. Lowell Warncke of Wauseon, Ohio, and Lucinda S. Michael Peter of Gibsonburg, Ohio, six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Her parents and husband preceded her in death. Visitation will be Thursday, September 8, 2011, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Oak Harbor. The funeral service will be conducted Friday, September 9, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with additional visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Harris-Elmore Union Cemetery. The family has suggested memorials for Thelma to the donors choice.
