Thelma Ohearn

Thelma M. OHearn age 98 of Maumee, passed away on Friday, August 2, 2013 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. Thelma was born in Toledo, OH on December 3, 1914 to Carroll M. and Ruby Rooney Langton. Thelma was a graduate of Central Catholic High School in 1932 and Mercy School of Nursing in 1936. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Maumee and Mercy Alumni Group. Thelma enjoyed spending time with her family, baking and vegetable gardening. Surviving are her children, Patricia Richard Shaw, Edward OHearn, Sandra Deccio and Maureen OHearn; grandchildren, Thomas Kris, Janet, Kathleen Brian, Nicholas, Benjamin, Michael and E. Spencer; great grandchildren, Cassandra, Curtis, Shane, Morgan, Austin and Mark. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Mick OHearn; son-in-law, Gary Deccio and brothers, Wellington, Leroy and Bernard Langton. Friends may call at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home 501 Conant St., Maumee on Monday, August 5, 2013 from 3-8 pm. Prayers will begin in the funeral home on Tuesday at 12:30 pm followed by the Funeral Mass at 1:00 pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Maumee. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
