Thelma A. Neff, 94, of Genoa, died early Wednesday morning, September 14, 2011, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, Ohio. Thelma was born April 26, 1917, in Luckey, Ohio, to John and Sylvia Priest Hagemeyer. She married Edward Neff, who preceded her in death in 1962. Thelma worked as a cook for the former Blue Moon in Genoa, as a nurses aide at Riverview Nursing Home in Oak Harbor and retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber in Luckey. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, fishing, crocheting, but especially enjoyed being with her family. She is survived by her children, Edward Judy Neff of Genoa, Evonne Shackelford of Millbury, Doris Greer and Jerry Sharon Neff both of Genoa, and Diane Dan Petersen of Perrysburg, 26 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Sylvia Runion, Kathleen Caswell, son, Walter Junior Neff, grandchildren, Debra Neff, Edward Neff, Danny Runion, Daniel Petersen, Jr. and Kathy Reeder, sons-in-law, George Shackelford, Larry Greer and Lyle Runion. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday, September 16, 2011, in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Genoa. The funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 17, 2011, in the funeral home with burial to follow in Clay Township Cemetery. The family suggests memorials for Thelma to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. River Rd., Perrysburg, OH 43551.
