Thelma L. Grieger, 92, of Lebanon, IN, formerly of Farmington Hills, MI, and Seaside, CA, died Monday, June 30, 2008, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon. She was born october 13, 1915, in Rocky Ridge, OH, to George and Bertha Dibert Hacker. On June 3, 1946, in Alexandria, VA, she married Theodore R. Grieger, and he preceded her in death December 17, 2000. Thelma worked as a supervisor for the U.S. Army Medical Supply at Fort Ord in California for 20 years retiring om 1982. She was a member of Nardin Park Methodist Church in Farmington Hills, MI. She also volunteered at the Thrift Shop in Ford Ord and enjoyed music, playing cards, traveling, and singing. Survivors include her son, Rev. David Anne Grieger of Lebanon, IN; sisters, Charlotte Beardsley and Garnet Willow both of Michigan; two grandchildren, Jeremiah and Matt Grieger, and one great grandchild, Zoe Grieger. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, Blanche Rothwell, Frances Hacker, Phyllis Kempfer, Helen Schiller and brothers, John, Lawrence, Marvin, Glen, and Meryl Hacker. Graveside services will be conducted 12:00 p.m., Saturday, July 12, 2008, in Limestone Cemetery, Graytown, OH. Memorial contributions may be given to American Baptist Assembly, Green Lake, Wisconsin 54941. Arrangements are being handled by the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Oak Harbor, OH.
