Thad A Cleghorn

Thad A. Cleghorn age 52 of Maumee, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 4, 2018. He was born in Toledo on October 3, 1965 to Edwin and Sharon (Pfleghaar) Cleghorn. Thad was employed at Klumm Excavating and Demolition. Thads biggest joy in life was his kids. In their youth, he coached them in sports and was involved in quarter midget racing. He also enjoyed riding his Harley, hunting and fishing. He will always be remembered for his goofy personality and you could always count on him for a good laugh. There was never a dull moment when you were around him. Surviving are his children, Dalton, Drake, Devon, Danielle, and Delaney Cleghorn; father, Ed Cleghorn; sisters, Kimberly (Mark) Karchner, Ellen (Don) Clark and brother, Todd (Lisa) Cleghorn. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and his canine companion, Dink. Thad was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Cleghorn and beloved son, Drew Cleghorn. Family and friends will be received at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 104 W. Broadway, Maumee, on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 from 9:30 AM until the time of the Memorial Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Toledo Humane Society, Sunshine Communities or St. Joseph Church Building Fund.
