Tessie J. Jablonski-Prusik-Conner

Tessie J. Conner, 82, of Westerville, OH, and formerly of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Tuesday, November 29, 2016, at Parkside Village Senior Living, Westerville, OH. Tessie was born August 27, 1934, in New Haven, CT, the daughter of Joseph and Stella (Dutkiewicz) Jablonski. On December 19, 1954 in Port Clinton, OH, she married Philip G. Conner and he preceded her in death on November 28, 2012. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton, OH; she was devoted to the Blessed Virgin Mary and said the rosary every day. Tessie worked as a secretary for the U.S. Gypsum Co. and EAD Erie Ordinance. She also was a bookkeeper for Lakeland Motel in Port Clinton. Tessie enjoyed reading, gardening and tending to her flowers. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Tessie will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Left to cherish her memory: Daughters: Laura Conner of Scottsdale, AZ, Victoria (David) Mihal of Dunlap, CA and Karyn (Tom) Hanley of Westerville, OH; Grandchildren: Dawn Houghtaling, Sarah (David) McKoy, Morgan Mihal, Cassidy Mihal, Drew Philip Hanley, Wyatt Thomas Hanley and Reece Joseph Hanley; 4 Great-Grandchildren; Sister: Jeannie Ochs of Oregon, OH and numerous loving nieces, nephews and friends. Tessie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters: Claire Wodrich, Natalie Sergent, Helen Podgurski, Phyllis Golanski, Gennie DeTray and brother: Walter Prusik. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted by Father John Missler at 1:30, December 2, 2016 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton, OH, with an hour of visitation before the service. Interment will be in Christy Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Tessie may be given to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church or The Humane Society of Ottawa County (HSOC). Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory assisted the family with arrangements.
