Terry L. Witt of Martin, OH went to be with the Lord on Tuesday August 22, 2017 at his home with his wife by his side holding his hand. Terry was born in Martin, OH on April 4, 1961 to Don and Shirley (Witt) Witt. He was a 1979 graduate of Oak Harbor High School and Penta Career Center where he earned the Outstanding Student Award for Automotive Studies. Terry became an Eagle Scout on April 6, 1976 in Troop 396. He also started his own automotive business at the age of 18 and continued to serve the community for 38 years. Terry was passionate about exploring God’s sea creatures. While S.C.U.B.A. diving near the Fiji Islands, Cayman Islands and Australia’s Great Barrier Reef, he swam with Hammerhead Sharks and rode on the back of a Manta Ray. He demonstrated extreme generosity in sponsoring youth programs and events throughout the community. Terry also enjoyed making memories with his loving wife and family. Terry married the love of his life Roberta “Bobbie” (Fisher) Witt on June 8, 1991. He adored Bobbie and took pleasure in sharing her passion for horses. Surviving are his wife of 26 years Bobbie Witt, parents Don and Shirley Witt, brother Mike Witt, and nieces and nephews. Please join the family in celebration of Terry’s life on Tuesday August 29, 2017 at Robinson-Walker Funeral Home at 501 West Street Genoa, OH 43430 from 2pm-8pm. The following day, Wednesday August 30, 2017 at 9:30am, family and close friends will meet at Robinson Walker to form a procession to continue the celebration at 11am at Cedar Creek Church, 29129 Lime City rd., Perrysburg, Ohio 43551. Immediately following the ceremony, please join us for a luncheon and fellowship. Those wishing to make a donation in Terry’s memory are encouraged to donate to the Car Care Ministries at Cedar Creek Church. This program provides free car services and cars to those in need.
